This Week

  • 1/26/20: The B&O Logo Wear Store closes at midnight. Get your orders in tonight! We are featuring a NEW Marching Band logo as well as our classic Instrumental Music logos. Access the store and order online here: https://rohswinter2020.itemorder.com/sale

  • 1/28/20: Uniform distribution is 1/28 at 4:30pm in the Band Room. ​​NOTE: Marching Band uniforms must be worn by ALL students going to Disney. Each student is required to wear a Marching Band uniform in order to march in the parade. If a student does NOT have a Marching Band uniform, he/she must attend the Uniform Distribution Night on 1/28/20 to get fitted. If your student is one of these kids, please consider helping by SIGNING UP here. If your student cannot attend this fitting, email the boosters ASAP to make a plan.

  • 1/29/20: Disney 2020 T-shirts will be available from Mr. Jensen and Mr. Rose starting Wednesday morning (1/29/20). They will be bundled with the student’s name on them. If extra T-shirts were ordered, this information and the total amount owed will be on the package slip.


Disney 2020 News

  • Attention all Disney travelers and parents: Be sure you are signed up for the Disney 2020 Remind NOW!  There is a Remind for STUDENTS and a separate one for PARENTS. Instructions for signing up for both can be found on the DISNEY web page. Remind will be the ONLY official method of communication. If it’s not on Remind, it’s not official.

  • The Disney 2020 Itinerary is now available! Click HERE.

  • The Disney Packing List is now available! Click HERE.

  • T-shirt requirements for each day of the trip:
  • Disney 2020 T (supplied - see blue T below)
  • Gray Raven Head T (see gray T below)
  • Two (2) ROHS-related tops 

  • Disney 2020 T-shirts will be available from Mr. Jensen and Mr. Rose starting Wednesday morning (1/29/20). They will be bundled with the student’s name on them. If extra T-shirts were ordered, this information and the total amount owed will be on the package slip.

  • 2/4: Disney Chaperone Meeting at 8 PM (after the Open House) in the new Band Room

  • 2/10-14: HS placement auditions (8th Grade & HS students, Time TBD)

  • 2/11: B&O Boosters’ meeting at 7 pm in the band room (All parents and students welcome!)​

  • 2/17-18: Mid-winter Break

  • 2/17-22: B&O Disney 2020 trip!!! Sign up for Disney 2020 Remind and see trip details on the DISNEY web page.

  • 2/26: Pre-Festival Clinic/Concert at ROHS Auditorium (SB 3:30 p,m; WE 4:15 p.m; SO 5 p.m; 8th Grade Band 5:45 pm.)

Shop at GORDON FOOD SERVICE.  When you shop at Gordon Foods, let them know at checkout that you are shopping for "Royal Oak Bands & Orchestras" and the Boosters will receive discount points to use on supplies.

Shop at AMAZON SMILE.   Enter the Amazon Smile website via  smile.amazon.com and designate "Royal Oak High School Band and Orchestra Boosters" as your charity. A portion of your sale will go to the Boosters' General Fund for things like instruments, music, clinicians, etc.
