9/20/19 Homecoming Parade -
Come watch the Marching Band (and other ROHS students) in the Homecoming Parade on Friday at 5pm. Note: The parade route is Lexington to the Crooks Rd. Bus Loop (then head on over to our B&O Tailgate Party!)
RSVP for the Tailgate -
Attn: Marching Raven Fans (alumni, B&O family & friends) please RSVP for this Friday's homecoming Tailgate Party so we can plan accordingly. The tailgate will start immediately following the parade. The main dish this week is Uncle Andy's pizza and grinders with side salads, munchies, desserts and beverages.

We will be selling Spirit Wear during the tailgate (cash or check only). Spirit wear items include T-shirts, hoodies, magnets, bumper stickers, hats, etc.

Alumni Call Out -
If you marched for Royal Oak, Dondero, or Kimball High School you are invited to join the ROHS Marching Ravens for their Homecoming Performance on 9/20/19. RSVP by email to: [email protected] and title it “Alunmi Band Request” followed by your name and instrument. (Ex: Alumni Band Request from Joe Cool—Trumpet). Music and loaner instruments will be available upon request and there is no cost to participate.

Our 4th Annual
Marching Band Golf Outing
was today and we'd like to say thank you to all the golfers, parent volunteers, and Committee Chairs for planning another fun day of fundraising on the greens!
Marching Band Uniforms -
MB Parents: If your student needs their bibbers shortened, please do not cut the material! They can be hemmed, or just safety pin them to the correct length. We also have a MB seamstress if you wish to contact her for any alterations (see the website BANDS page). The raincoats are brand new this year! If they need to be cleaned, they can be washed in cold water on delicate. They should be line-dried, never machine dried.
Tag Days is coming 9/27-9/28!
What is it? Our biggest fundraiser by far, Tag Days gives our students an opportunity to shine in well-populated areas and collect cash donations. Students sign up for mandatory shifts and may (or may not) perform as duos or small groups in pre-determined areas around Royal Oak and the surrounding community. In the past, a "tag" was given to those who donated as a thank you (hence the name). Parent volunteers are needed to supervise and act as runners during these busy two days. See the links on the

Tuxedo distribution has been RESCHEDULED for 9/24/19 in the MMR.
