Jazz Band Winter Concert TONIGHT
Come see the award-winning Samohi Jazz Bands at the Morgan-Wixson TONIGHT, January 27, at 6 pm. Directors Tom Whaley and Sean Pawling have created a great program for all to enjoy. There's free parking at the Venice Clinic nearby. So drop in and support the Samohi Jazz Bands!

You are invited to the 7th annual Bands at the Broad, a concert benefitting the Samohi Bands Touring Fund and featuring the Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble. Join us for a fabulous evening of wine, cupcakes, and music!
  • Samohi Band students admitted FREE; simply check in at will call.

We Welcome Volunteers, Cupcake Donations & Auction Items
If you help out before the Bands at the Broad (volunteer slots start as early as 3:30), you will be permitted to save your seats as a thank-you for your time and dedication. Samohi students can also earn volunteer hours!

Notes for Wind Symphony/Wind Ensemble Families
The call time for Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble students will be 4:15 pm. Please feed your hungry musician beforehand and/or pack them food that they can eat during the break! There will be no food supplied at the venue.

'Side Show' Rehearsal Snacks
We're still looking for volunteers to bring snacks to Pit Orchestra rehearsals and/or to help serve dinner on February 22 and February 28. Please sign up here to help feed the Pit. THANK YOU!

Thursday Rehearsals
Please note: Starting on Thursday, February 7, the Pit Orchestra will hold rehearsals every other Thursday in addition to Fridays.

Do you know any current or incoming Samohi Band parents who might be willing to take on a board position next year, or chair a committee? Then join the nominating committee and draft them! The nominating committee is a low time commitment that helps us maintain strong volunteer leadership, so please consider helping us identify potential board members and committee chairs. WIND ENSEMBLE ROME TOUR
Save the Date: Mandatory Rome Tour Meeting March 14
All tour participants (along with one parent or guardian) must plan to attend the mandatory Rome Tour meeting on Thursday, March 14, from 7-9 pm in the Samohi Band Room.
