THEATRE PIT ORCHESTRA
Mandatory Parent Meeting Moved to Thursday, January 23
Due to College Night at Samohi, the mandatory parent meeting for pit orchestra has been moved from Tuesday to Thursday, January 23. Meet us in the band room at 6:30 pm to go over the schedule for the season and make sure your child enrolls properly and gets their class credit!

Featuring the Samohi Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble under the direction of Kevin McKeown, the 8th annual Bands at the Broad benefit concert is excited this year to welcome the Lincoln Middle School Wind Symphony for a special send-off performance before they perform at the All-State conference February 22 in Fresno.

Tickets are reserved seating only: $30 for adults and $5 for students, with special box seats available for $50 each. All are welcome! Reserve your seats today!

ALL BANDS
St. Olaf Band Performing February 3 in Barnum Hall
The St. Olaf Band (which includes Samohi alum Natalie DiMundo!) will perform at Samohi's Barnum Hall on Monday, February 3, at 7 p.m. as part of its 2020 winter tour. The Samohi Wind Ensemble is also planning to play a piece during the show.

Founded in 1891, the St. Olaf Band performs the very best compositions and transcriptions for symphonic band, producing an exciting, crowd-pleasing style, and was dubbed “one of America’s preeminent bands” by The New Yorker.
