BPA Meeting THIS Tuesday, December 10
Join us for our next Band Parents meeting this Tuesday, December 10, at 6:30 pm in the band room. We will be selling band merchandise, so come get your t-shirts, hats, sweatshirts, and jammie pants to fulfill all of your holiday shopping needs! Remember, if you are a band parent, you are automatically a member of the BPA! All are welcome.

Tickets for the Winter Concert Go on Sale in One Week!
Watch this space to reserve your favorite seats for the
Samohi Bands Winter Concert. Tickets go on sale at 9 am next Monday, December 16.
Featuring Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Symphonic Winds, and the Viking Marching Band, the winter concert will take place in Barnum Hall on
Friday, January 17, 2020, at 6:30 pm.
Have a musician in Wind Symphony or Wind Ensemble? Their next performance will be at
Bands at the Broad on
Tuesday, February 11, 2020. Of course, all families are welcome at both concerts to enjoy a great show and support our amazing band students!

VMB Group Photo at the Pier This Wednesday at 7 am
Marching band and color guard students need to meet at the Santa Monica Pier at 7 am sharp this Wednesday for their group photo.

www.yaryphoto.com. Just click on "ONLINE ORDERS" and select "PRE-PAY." Then scroll down to events for December 11th, or search "Santa Monica." Once you've found our photo shoot, select "View Gallery," enter your email address, and follow the instructions.
If you pre-pay online, please have your student bring a copy of their order confirmation on Wednesday.

Winter Concert Rehearsal and VMB Banquet on Friday, January 10
Mr. McKeown has set a VMB rehearsal in Barnum Hall for
January 10, 4:30-6:30 pm. The VMB will be practicing for the
Winter Concert on
Friday, January 17, when they will play their full show music from "The Bard" after periods 1, 3, and 5 perform.

Our annual Viking Marching Band Potluck Banquet and Awards will be in the Samohi Cafeteria right after rehearsal, from
6:30 - 9:30 pm.
