Applications for 2019 SMMUSD Solo & Small Ensemble Festival Due April 1
Hosted by the Samohi Orchestras, the SMMUSD Solo and Small Ensemble Festival will take place on Sunday, April 28, from 8 am to 5 pm at the Santa Monica College Performing Arts Campus at 1310 11th Street.
Open to all 6th – 12th grade band or orchestra students in the school district, the festival gives students the opportunity to perform in front of an adjudicator for feedback, a rating, and a certificate. Not only is it a great way to improve your playing, it's also good practice for auditioning and a strong addition to any college brag sheet!
