ALL BANDS
All-State Recordings Due Nov. 27
All-State/CBDA recordings will be due to Mr. McKeown by Wednesday, November 27, via Google Drive. When he picks the top 20 students to submit, each of them will be given a code to upload their music and scales through the CBDA online system, which will close at 11:59 PM on December 2, 2019. Read auditioning/recording guidelines here.

Jazz musicians: Please talk to your teacher for instructions.

The All-State ensembles will perform February 21-23, 2020, in Fresno, CA. Read more info on the CBDA Auditions page.

Come to Our BPA Meeting on December 10
If you are a band parent, you are a member of the BPA! Join us for our next meeting on December 10 at 6:30 pm in the band room. In order to make these meetings more relevant to YOU, we are taking comments/questions to be submitted to the meeting agenda. VIKING MARCHING BAND
Tentative Date Set for VMB Potluck Banquet
We have currently set the date for our annual Viking Marching Band potluck banquet for Friday, January 10, at 7 pm. Date and time are subject to change, but this will definitely be happening! It's a great time to recognize our outstanding students, our seniors, our coaches, and our volunteers.
VMB Winter Concert Rehearsal
Mr. McKeown is also setting a tentative VMB rehearsal for January 10 before the band banquet. Save the date!

For the Winter Concert on Friday, January 17, VMB students will play their full show music from "The Bard" after periods 1, 3, and 5 perform.

BAND TOURING
San Francisco/Sonoma Tour Contributions Due December 3
If your Wind Symphony student is going on tour this March, and you have signed up to make full or partial contributions to cover the cost of the trip, we are asking for your next installment ($330, if you are paying in full) by December 3. Click here if you are ready to make your contribution now.
Bands at the Broad
The Bands at the Broad Committee has commenced planning and will need lots of helping hands for the February 11th music extravaganza! Click here to look over areas where you might like to get involved in a fun and magical evening for our Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble. All band families are welcome to volunteer, attend and enjoy!
