Reserve your space now for the 2018 First Presbyterian Church Retreat in the Blue Ridge mountains of NC! We will be heading to Kanuga Conference Center in Hendersonville the weekend of March 9-11, 2018.  Join your church family for a weekend filled with worship, fellowship, great food, and fun activities for all ages. Our retreat will be led by a team from In Christ Supporting Ministries, a specialized ministry validated by the Presbytery of Charlotte, who will lead us into new insights about the ways Christ redefines our daily lives and frees us to participate in God's work of ministry. Wednesday Night Fellowship
Please join us for Wednesday Night Fellowship throughout January and February as we hear from several missional community organizations about their important work and how we can partner with them.  On January 31st, we welcome representatives from Opportunity House to hear about their day center that serves our homeless neighbors in Concord.  Please make your reservations by noon Monday.   Menu:  white and red chili, rice, nachos, fruit, salad, dessert.
Potluck Luncheon
Please join us for a Potluck Luncheon on  Sunday, February 4th  in Davis Hall following the  11:00 a.m. worship service.  Helpers will be in the kitchen starting at 9:30 a.m. to receive dishes before church.

Racial Equity Training

In this lively and participatory half-day  presentation, the Racial Equity Institute (REI) will offer stories and data that uncover the structural realities of racism in our society. Those who have participated in the past are glowing in their praise of the positive impact this seminar has had on their own lives. The cost for participants is a mere  $15.  Click here to register!
