April, 2017

Thank you to all who prayed for the recent church plant in Wilmington, DE. The Lord blessed the Get-Acquainted Meetings for First State Baptist Church which took place March 26 - 30. Several area churches traveled each night to help serve and to give identity and credibility to the new church. Capital Baptist Church of Dover, DE, the reproducing church, did a wonderful job in supporting this new work, and the members were excited to see the Lord bless their efforts. This is the second church plant reproduced out of Capital Baptist, and Pastor Terri Moore has done a great job in leading the church to establish new churches in the needy cities nearby. Pray for First State Baptist and Pastor Sam Knickerbocker and that the Lord would continue to prosper them as they spread the gospel in Wilmington, DE.

Pray now for the next church plant in Cranbrook, British Columbia. The Get-Acquainted Meetings for Rocky Mountain Baptist Church will take place April 23-27. Pastor Dwight Talbot is the new pastor, and he and his family have been evangelizing and working the area for several months in preparation for the opening meetings. Valley View Baptist Church in Creston, BC, is the reproducing church, under the leadership of Pastor Jeff Friesen. There is great cooperative spirit among the churches in British Columbia, and several will travel over five hours to help with these meetings. Commitment from area churches is key to the success of church plants in areas like this. Pray for the Lord to build His church in Cranbrook.

It is a thrill to see the Lord continue to prosper BCPM, and our staff is thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lord in advancing the cause of Christ. Please pray for BCPM's upcoming board meeting and staff retreat in June. This is our annual meeting where we will meet and work on ways to better our efforts to assist churches in church planting. The Lord has blessed BCPM, and we want to be diligent in carrying out His plans for the ministry. Thank you for your investment in BCPM and partnering with us as we help churches reproduce churches.
