Praise: Join us in thanking God for leaders like Corneille Gato Munyamasoko, recipient of the 2015 BWA Congress Quinquennial Human Rights Award. We give thanks for his dedication to peace and reconciliation as well as his efforts to fight the stigmas associated with HIV and AIDS. Prayer: Join us in prayer for those continuing to be impacted by COVID-19 pandemic. We pray specifically for the 75 teenagers the BWA was able to support with nutrition and vocational training after they became single mothers due to sexual abuse they experienced during lockdown.

Please also join us in prayer for the people of Republic of Congo, Gabon, Sao Tome and Principe.

Please join us in continued prayer for those in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Switzerland who have been impacted by significant flooding this month. The Baptist church in Hagen, Germany (pictured), was completely flooded and neighborhoods devastated. Members of the Baptist Church in Remagen were tragically swept away by the water and homes were destroyed. Would you join with me in continuing to pray for Haiti and Cuba as they face recent social unrest? BWA Vice President Joel Dorsinville from Haiti shares the following points of prayer for his country: Pray that the light of truth may guide our path toward peace, justice, and the reconciliation of a fractured nation. Pray that Haiti may emerge from this trial with a renewed vision of governance, leadership, and social justice. Pray that Baptist leaders would minister with wisdom and grace within their communities.

Prayer for Transformation  Barriers, walls, and barbed wire mark the frontiers, O Lord. Help us to transform them into places where we can meet, with sincerity, as countries and as persons, so that the world will know that we are Christians by the love with which our actions are marked.
