Emad and Almess Botros, CBM Field Staff to Lebanon, have been faithfully serving during this challenging time, including the recent Beirut explosion.
We give thanks for the leadership of BWA Vice President Jennifer Lau and lift her up as she begins her new leadership role as CBM Executive Director.

We pray for church and ministry leaders as they continue to seek innovative ways to serve their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We give thanks for the leadership of 2015-2020 BWA Vice Presidents Jerry Carlisle and Naomi Tyler-Lloyd as well as 2020-2025 BWA Vice President Albert Reyes in addition to the many Americans who are serving faithfully on BWA Commissions and Committees.
Join us in prayer for the upcoming presidential election and for unity and civility within the political process. We pray also for opportunities to be voices of change against the ongoing racial injustices within America. The North American Baptist Fellowship (NABF) held their 2020 Annual Gathering virtually last week with insightful messages from Dr. Kevin Cosby and practical panel discussions. During the business portion of the gathering, new officers were also introduced. Join us in prayer for the following leaders:

President: Dr. Sam Tolbert
Vice-Presidents: Dr. Craig Christina, Rev. Willie Dwayne, Dr. Patricia Hernandez, Rev. Tim McCoy, Dr. TaNikka Sheppard
Treasurer: Dr. Robert Cochran
At last week's Caribbean Baptist Fellowship (CBF) Virtual General Assembly, Anslem Warrick was announced as the CBF Executive Secretary / Treasurer-Elect. Rev. Warrick has faithfully served in numerous capacities within the BWA and CBF, and he will begin this new role on January 1, 2021. Please join me in a prayer of thanksgiving for Rev. Warrick and ask for God's continued provision and protection during this new season of leadership in the ministry of CBF and the BWA.

We also join in prayer for newly-installed CBF President Dominique Dick, the first president elected from a French-speaking Caribbean country in the CBF's 50-year history. Rev. Dick will serve in this role for the next five years.
A Prayer from Canada

To wake from sleep into this day
is gift enough for thanks.
To hear a child’s delight in laughter
is gift enough for thanks.
To sip a glass of clean, cold water
is gift enough for thanks.
To watch the sunset paint the sky
is gift enough for thanks.
To share a moment with a friend
is gift enough for thanks.
To smell the fragrance of moist soil
is gift enough for thanks.
To feel the comfort of clean clothing
is gift enough for thanks.
To form the words that make a prayer
is gift enough for thanks.
