Bar Method Founder Burr Leonard to teach at Encino Opening|Reserve Now!

The Bar Method opens in the heart of Encino in The Plaza de Oro shopping complex on Ventura Blvd., just west of Balboa on the north side of the Encino Commons Archway. Opening day marks a special opportunity to take class from Bar Method founder Burr Leonard, who will be teaching at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:00am. Bar Method Encino is the 15th Southern California studio to open and the 40th nationwide.

Beloved LA Senior teacher Katelin Chesna has partnered with long time student Emily Beason to create this beautiful studio, which boasts floor to ceiling windows that provide an abundance of natural light as well as a view of our beautiful courtyard. There is plenty of easy parking in the complex parking lot. Entrance to the studio is in the courtyard behind Menchie's frozen yogurt.

Burr Leonard, a former journalist, has been practicing and improving on the exercises that now make up The Bar Method exercise system since 1991. In 2000 Burr and her partner Carl Diehl founded The Bar Method, Inc. and the next year opened their flagship studio in San Francisco. Since then they have built and franchised many Bar Method studios around the country. Burr also has produced nine best selling Exercise DVDs and writes the popular Burr Leonard blog. Burr visits and teaches at each of the new Bar Method studios on their openings and often blogs about these exciting events.

On March 21, 2011 lululemon athletica Brentwood named Bar Method LA's Tiffany Leigh Baldwin its newest Ambassador! Tiffany was trained by Burr Leonard in March, 2004 and has been one of Los Angeles' most popular teachers ever since. In January, 2011, she was made one of two LA Teaching Coaches and works with all the LA Teachers on an ongoing basis to increase and hone their skills.

Tiffany Baldwin was born in Philadelphia, PA and has been dancing, singing and acting her entire life. As a teen she worked professionally as a singer and actress in NYC. She attended UCLA for undergrad, so she could continue pursuing her career as a recording artist and actress, and she graduated with a BA in Psychology.

Tiffany is a talented singer/songwriter and plays both the guitar and piano. As an actress she has many credits to her name, most notably, her co-starring role in the film ISeeYou.com, starring Beau Bridges and Rosanna Arquette. Tiffany has been a Bar Method instructor for seven years! She loves

how strong it makes her feel and that it is so

form focused. For Tiffany, the Bar Method is the

perfect workout, because it focuses not only on

physical fitness, but on mental well-being as

well. The knowledge that she has played a part

in making a positive difference in her students

lives has been incredibly rewarding.
