Dear Traveler,
2025 trip planning is in full swing and while I’ve seen articles citing statistics that overall global leisure travel may be leveling off, my clients are still taking every opportunity to get out and see the world! You may wonder how travel is shaping up for 2025 and where others are planning to travel this year. Caribbean and Mexico resorts have been popular this spring, for spring breaks and escaping the colder weather in the U.S. Italy and Spain are still my top destinations in Europe, though interest in Northern Europe and Scandinavia is growing. For those who have traveled extensively in Europe and are looking for something a little more exotic, Morocco is quickly gaining in popularity. For a bucket list trip, nothing beats an African safari for my clients able to travel for two or more weeks. And of course, luxury cruising remains a popular travel option for my clients, both classic cruising in popular locations like the Caribbean & Mediterranean, and expedition cruising around the Galapagos Islands and the Antarctic.
Since Italy is the most popular destination for my clients, I decided to devote this week's blog post to the rental of villas in Tuscany and why a villa rental can be the foundation of a great Italian vacation. Perfect for a moderate sized group of adults, a few families traveling together, and large multi-generational family trips, villa rentals allow everyone to explore at their own pace and pursue their individual interests on a vacation. Very few other travel options provide both the flexibility and privacy of a villa rental. If you are curious about what a villa vacation would be like, I encourage you to scroll down and click the link to my blog post, where I provide an overview of what’s generally included in a villa rental, extra amenities some villas offer, additional services you can add, and activities offered on the villa grounds and in the surrounding region. I have also included three sample villas that span the mid to upper-mid tier of luxury villas for size, amenities, and pricing. There’s also a brief list of optional activities and tours I can arrange to compliment a villa vacation and ensure a seamless end-to-end trip experience.
Best,
David
