The new Barclays Center in Downtown Brooklyn is now recruiting applicants to fill 2,000 jobs this summer! NYCHA's Office of Resident Economic Empowerment & Sustainability (REES) is working with Public Housing Communities, Inc. to recruit NYCHA residents from Brooklyn for a series of job fairs to be held in late June and early July. All NYCHA residents from Brooklyn are invited to attend, and NYCHA residents who live near the arena will receive priority consideration.
Recruiting now for:
- Box Office
- Food Service
- Guest Service
- Operations
- Security
The employers are looking for courteous, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals with flexible schedules.
At the job fair, you will meet with a pre-screener to review your qualifications, professionalism, and customer service skills. If you meet the qualifications, you will receive a referral to interview for a job at the Barclays Center.
*Because of the number of applicants, please be prepared to wait a minimum of two (2) hours.
Minimum qualifications:
- Brooklyn NYCHA resident
- Valid Driver's License or State I.D. (Non-Expired)
- High School Diploma or Educational Equivalent strongly preferred
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, employment verification and drug screening
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
