The progress Thunder has made since he came to Pets Alive has been incredible to watch. He had a hard time adjusting to his life here when he came 3 years ago, but he's greatly improved. He loves being scratched behind his ears and he loves to snuggle under a clean blanket or roll around on a fresh sheet. He also has some favorite friends at the shelter that he snuggles with. Thunder, now 4 years old, would do best in a home with other cats and a little patience while he adjusts to a new environment.

Peconic is an adorable Parakeet looking for a new home. He was found as a stray, just fluttering around someone's backyard. We would love a big cage with bird toys to play in and snacks to nibble on.

Lilac is looking for a new home! This pretty Pittie is a senior girl who is looking for the right fit. She enjoys lounging around the house, but also strolling in the yard. She gets along with select dogs and previously lived with cats. She would do best with an experienced dog owner, in a home without children. If your home sounds like a match for this gorgeous girl, come down and meet her in person!

Meet Serviette! This super handsome and snuggly boy just went up for adoption. Serviette came to us wrapped in a towel, being held by a small child. She was sent to our shelter by her parents who made her surrender her pet cat. They had just had a new baby and he jumped up in the crib and they weren't happy about that. (He didn't do anything bad. He was just curious.) So this little girl had to say goodbye to her pet, all on her own. This handsome boy is very affectionate and just wants a person to cuddle.

Gail is a beautiful 8-year-old lady who has certainly had some ups & downs along the way but continues to shine. She has been at Pets Alive now for 3 years and needs to find a home. She needs a few moments to warm up to strangers but after that, she's so very loving. After all she has been through, she still trusts people and finds comfort with them. Let's show her that her faith and trust have not been misguided. She's ready for a true furrever home. Is that you?
