Dear Barlina House Families:
Happy New Year! We hope everyone enjoyed their winter break.
Registration for the 2021-22 school year is now available. Register for Barlina House Preschool online or in person at the Park District Administration Office. Please check the park district website, www.crystallakeparks.org, for all of the available preschool classes. Staff members can also assist with any questions or concerns.
I am hoping to set up a Zoom call the second week in January so you can see your kids in action. I hope this will work. Thank you all for being so supportive of our school. We could not be successful without the support of our families. The library will be zooming with the whole school on January 20 and 21 at 9:30 am on each morning. It is a lot of fun. We hope the children will enjoy it.
I hope you enjoyed the first semester of work in your children’s portfolio. We decided to send all the work home just in case of another closure. Hopefully, you also enjoyed the activity packet we sent home which includes some fun things to do with your children
Reminders:
If School District 47 cancels classes, due to inclement weather, Barlina House will also be closed. District 47 school closings can be found on their web site and are also announced on FM Radio 105.5 and TV Station WGN Please remember to send appropriate outer wear for outdoor play.
Please send shoes if your child wears boots to school.
