May 2023 - Memorial Day Issue

Greetings from District 3

It is with great honor that I write to you as your County Commissioner for District 3. I am grateful for the trust and confidence placed in me to represent our community and work towards its betterment.

The challenges facing our community are diverse and unique. I am here to listen to your concerns, understand your perspectives, and advocate for policies that enhance our quality of life, promote economic growth and foster a sustainable and inclusive environment. I am eager to embark on this journey of public service.

Since my appointment this past January, I have been working diligently to familiarize myself with the district, including meeting with stakeholders, attending workforce housing groundbreakings, dialoguing with religious and business leaders, and discussing with mayors and council members the needs of their respective municipalities. I am excited to learn about what matters most to you personally and to our community as a whole. I enthusiastically welcome your ideas and suggestions. Your input is invaluable in shaping my agenda and driving positive change.

Please reach out to my office with any questions, concerns or suggestions you may have. My dedicated team and I are here to assist you. Whether through meetings, town halls or online platforms, I am committed to maintaining an open line of communication to address the challenges we face and seize the opportunities that lie ahead.

All gave some, some gave all for our freedom. May your day be filled with thanks, may you have loving memories and blessed peace on this Memorial Day.

Thank you,

from Mike Barnett and the District 3 team
