Barns Hinshaw-Wise lecture
The Trust's Fall Lecture Series continues with "The History of Chester County Barns" with Bob Wise and Seth Hinshaw. This lecture will cover the history of common historic barn types in Chester County, beginning with Old World precedents and then continuing through mid-20th century. To illustrate the local barn history, the speakers have included a slide presentation which provides examples of historic barns in Tredyffrin Township and the surrounding area.

As an update, the Trust's Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Phase I of the Jones Log Barn rebuilding project is complete. As part of Phase I, foundation, stormwater and stone work is finished and the Trust is planning the next and final phase of the reconstruction project. Details on Phase II will be presented at the lecture.
