What's the Difference?  null

Between a Study Group and a
Practice Group?

A Practice Group is led by someone who has taken courses and helps the community of therapists come together to practice on one another. Dates, times, meeting locations will be organized by practice group leaders. They may have resources available such as websites and Facebook pages, and contact information for local assistance.

A Study Group is led by someone qualified by the Institute and recommended by at least one instructor. The group leader will usually select a topic to review and practice, and will answer questions and correct hand positions, if needed

Study Groups include hands-on practice, techniques review and time available to have your questions answered.  Study Groups are led by instructors, teaching assistants, or certified therapists.

Practice Groups are more informal, and allow for students to practice in order to prepare for further study.
