It is with great sadness that I inform the congregation of the passing of Sanford Shinbaum, beloved father of Joy Schwartz.

An in-person funeral will take place at Temple Beth El on Tuesday at 2 PM, with interment to follow at Beth El Cemetery. Social distancing practices will be followed, with masks required for those unvaccinated.

The shiva schedule is as follows:

Tuesday (6/22) and Wednesday (6/23) - 10 Echo Lane, Fairfield, 4:00-8:00 with 7pm service

Thursday (6/24) - 275 Round Hill Road, Greenwich, 4:00-8:00 with 7pm service on Thursday (Parking available on North or South Baldwin Street).

On Shabbat from 4:00-8:00 PM (6/26) the family will be welcoming visitors (though there is no official shiva or shiva service on Shabbat) at 275 Round Hill Rd, Greenwich (Parking available on North or South Baldwin Street).

Sunday (6/27), 343 Rolling Hills Drive, Fairfield, 4:00-8:00, with 7pm service

The family has requested that donations go to Vista Life Innovations, Westbrook, CT

May the mourners be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
