With great sadness we inform the congregation of the passing of Dr. Jack Rice, at the age of 94. He is survived by his children Michele (Scott) Piskin, Drew (Dale) Rice and his grandchildren, Jason, Todd (Camille), Julie, Alli (Richard), Geoff (Sammy) and great grandsons Charlie and Theo.

Dr. Rice was a past president of Temple Shalom in Norwalk, and a past president of the Norwalk JCC. He attended daily minyan at Congregation Beth El in Norwalk for over 40 years.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, April 28 at Temple Shalom/Independent Hebrew Society Cemetery, 143 Richards Avenue, Norwalk, CT at 1:00 pm. Shiva will be observed Tuesday and Wednesday evening at the home of Scott and Michele Piskin, 90 Wedgemere Road, Stamford, with a service at 7:00 pm each evening.

May God comfort the mourners among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
