Basalt Chamber Member News,
Upcoming Events & What's Happening
It has been a major week of projects hitting big milestones: we receive the insights from our branding survey, results from a Tourism Sentiment Index report, and the magazine is off to the printer.

TONIGHT - A Business After Hours Poker
From 5-7 p.m. join us starting at Bay Equity in Downtown for a poker run. Don't forget your business cards! Details below.

2019 Discover Basalt magazine
The magazine has gone to press, which means the 2019 edition will be out in May. I can't wait for all of you to see it. Many thanks to the photographers, writers, and other contributors, including Beth Albert and David Krause at The Aspen Times who made this collaboration possible.

Basalt Master Plan meetings
The Town of Basalt will be hosting community meetings to get feedback as it works on its new master plan. The first one is April 25 at The Temporary. Details below.

Article/post of the week: If you are having a one of those days/weeks, this video from the National Parks Service may make you feel a bit better. Watch it then go do something outside. Us vs Every Day | Escape to Find Your Park [VIDEO].

See you tonight,
-Kris

P.S. One of the cooler things I saw back East was an eco-totem bike counter, which tracks and displays the number of bikes passing through an intersection and the total year to date. It is paired with a website to show all the data.
Question of the week:
Would you be interested in attending informal coffee meetings every few months?

Email your answers to director@basaltchamber.org.
