Each week we are highlighting and reviewing member benefits. Today's benefit is PROMOTION OF YOUR BUSINESS & REFERRALS WITH MARKETING MATERIALS.

The Chamber Welcome Center gets many visitors, including area residents and tourists, who are looking for things-to-do and information about member businesses. We also get requests daily to send materials locally and all throughout the country to people interested in personal or business relocation or vacationing in our area.
Usually our shelves are full of materials to pull from, however, we have lots of open space right now - check out the picture!

We want to promote your business but in order to do so, we need information to distribute. Rack cards, flyers, or postcards* - please provide materials that clearly describe your business's offerings.

Members, think back - when is the last time you delivered or sent marketing materials to the Chamber? Please make arrangements to get your marketing collateral to us. Let's start with 20 copies and we'll call you when we need a refill.

Pop by (we have free parking right out front!) or mail them to us. We are located at 2310 Edwards Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33901 and lobby hours are M-F from 9:00AM-4:30PM.


Since we're back to in-person activities, we also wanted to take this opportunity to review the guidelines for distributing materials at events. We ask you that you do not leave your marketing materials at the check-in table or throughout the venue, as it is a benefit reserved for that day's event sponsor. It is that time of year again and baseball will start soon. We are excited to announce that both teams will be here for Spring Training, though with new ticket policies and a more regional schedule. Historically, the Chamber would have season tickets for both teams, which we would share as a Chamber benefit to you. We are not able to do this for the 2021 season, but we have the links below where you can review the teams' schedules and get tickets:  

The Minnesota Twins have announced their revised schedule and ticket polices. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on February 24 and more details can be found here. The League took a regional approach and here is the revised schedule.

Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida's annual Business Hall of Fame event is taking place on Thursday, Feb. 25, beginning at 6:45 p.m. This will be the first time Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida hosts a combined event, honoring laureates from both Lee and Collier Counties simultaneously. It is also the first time it will be hosted entirely virtually.
The prestigious acknowledgment honors influential, visionary leaders from the business community that have made a significant impact, created new opportunities, and elevated the educational landscape for youth in their communities regarding financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work-readiness. For Lee County, Sarah Owen, president and CEO of Southwest Florida Community Foundation, William T. Prather, owner and executive producer of Broadway Palm Dinner Theater, and for Collier County, James J. Guerra, MD, orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist at Collier Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center, and Senator Kathleen C. Passidomo will be inducted into the Business Hall of Fame.

Meet your fellow Chamber members at Fort Myers Brewing Co. (12811 Commerce Lake Drive, Suite #28) for "Beers with Your Peers" on Monday, March 29 from 5-7pm for a night of casual networking in their indoor and outdoor spaces - plenty of room for distancing!

$15 per person includes one free drink. Food trucks will be on-site if you wish to purchase. Registrations can be made online.

Chase is a West Highland Terrier who is 1 1/2 years old. When Chase was younger, he looked like a baby polar bear! In line with his breed Chase has always been a little stubborn, while also wanting to please. He loves playing games like fetch and hide & seek.

Chase joined the Chamber this past November with his parents Patrick and Lisa Gunther, who are the owners/strategic partners of PrideStaff Fort Myers. Chase goes to work every day at PrideStaff and likes to attend both the morning and afternoon staff meetings, mainly because he knows that a walk follows all the boring stuff. Chase also participates in the Chamber's Ambassador meetings online with his dad.

When not at work, Chase loves to chase squirrels, ducks, raccoons, and any other wild critter. Chase loves all other dogs and humans. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body and he is part of the family!
