There’s a good chance Senior Program Director
Mary Ellen Ross
interviewed you for your first job at CAMBA. Mary Ellen’s job in Talent Acquisition in Human Resources has involved interviewing more than 300 job candidates a year for a range of open positions throughout the agency. But after 26 years at CAMBA, Mary Ellen is hanging up her interview clipboard and retiring. “I’ll miss the people here," she says. "They’re so friendly, cooperative and professional. Staff is serious, but they have a good time.”
While CAMBA has grown and expanded a great deal since she began in 1993, Mary Ellen points out that the “family culture” has remained intact. As for her own post-CAMBA plans after her retirement?
“I don’t envision a huge change in my life. I do expect to continue to enjoy everything that I like to do—but a lot more slowly.”

It was Twins Day at Flagstone Family Shelter (photos above) where Program Director
Bianca Billington
had the idea for staff to find a colleague and make arrangements to come to work dressed as one another's "twin." Said Bianca: "This was an effort to bring staff together and lift our spirits. We can laugh together, break bread together and still get the work done."
