Christopher Garcia
Business Development Specialist

Christopher Garcia is a Business Development Specialist with the SBDC at UNM-Valencia Workforce Training Center, where he has supported entrepreneurs since 2015. He specializes in helping startups navigate the early stages of business development, with expertise in business planning, financial projections, market analysis, tax planning, and website development.


Christopher is known for his practical, hands-on approach, guiding clients through the complexities of launching and growing a business. Prior to joining the New Mexico SBDC, he served in various roles at UNM-Valencia, most recently as Coordinator of Development and Donor Relations.


He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. Inspired by his grandmother, Sylvia Garcia, a bookkeeper, Christopher developed an early appreciation for business and financial stewardship that continues to shape his work with entrepreneurs today.
