Dear sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus, part of a growing repentance remnant globally,
Repentance is His GIFT! It's an eternal blessing from the Living God: first to enter His Kingdom (Matthew 4:17), then as THE topic to preach--then by those first disciples (Mark 6:12) and today, by you and me, as a witness to others ( Luke 24:47).
Unless you sincerely repent you're a spectator, not a Christ-ian. No more playing church; each of us, having been born children of wrath, needs to convert from the old life; die to self or perish!
" There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answered and said to them, ' Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.'" Luke 13: 1-5
" Then Jesus said to His disciples, 'If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works." John 16: 24-27
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." Revelation 3: 19-22.
