The Summer is on prolongation to the delight of all. At home, I finally hung the hummingbird feeder for the female attracted to the Rose of Sharon, an hibiscus, during its long flowering. She is making good reserves — packing it in — for the long migration ahead. It proves the skeptics wrong, the Sea Stones hummingbird feeder delights the bird and no one else, no bees or wasps. They are concentrating on the flowers in the garden.

Joseph’s Coat Summer Hours:

Open 10am to 4pm, 7 days a week.

Next First Friday of the month: August 7th, open till 9pm for the Night Market

Saturday, September 4th, music once the construction on the bridge stops.

To access Joseph’s Coat from the 101 traffic light go North on Grove Street, look for the River Walk parking lot, on the right.

Take the pedestrian bridge over the Nubanusit river, to arrive in Depot Square which is behind Joseph's Coat.

Turn left (West), we are the brick building all the way back.

From the North, on 202, take a right at the library, go over the bridge take a left and the town has many parking spaces on the right and the left.

Go toward the Post Office we are right across the street, 32 Grove Street.
