Spring crops are coming in at Market
Fresh carrots, new potatoes, snap peas, and yellow squash, just to name a few!

Our vendors have plenty of fresh veggies at market now
such as new potatoes, snap peas, carrots, and squash in addition to kale, cabbage, broccoli, radishes, spinach, beets, green onions and more! In addition, we have prepared foods, baked goods, breads, grass-fed beef, local honey, farm eggs, herbs & plants, Chinese Herbal Formulas, and more. Plus handcrafted artisan wares such as paintings, pottery, jewelry, metal arts, soaps, candles, gourd art and more. We welcome the Texas Lone Star card for food purchases.

Bastrop Herb Day
will be celebrated May 4, 2013 from 10-4 at Bastrop 1832 Farmers Market, 1302 Chestnut Street, next to the Convention Center. 


Lectures, vendors and other activities will take place during the day. Come learn about herbs and their impact in our lives.


Speakers will be:


11:00 am - Karen Schobel - Aquaponics

12:00 pm - Nancy Perriello - Elder - the Herb of the Year!

   1:00 pm - Brett Chandler-Finch - Herbal formulations

   2:00 pm - Kelly Bender - Butterfly Gardens

   3:00 pm - Deena Spellman - Culinary Herbs
