BATES BLAST

A HUGE thank you to all the families who volunteered, attended, bid and had a great time at the Pumpkin Fair yesterday. Our co-chairs, Janet and Kate, along with chair emeritus Athena and their incredible teams, truly outdid themselves.

While early reports hint we surpassed our fundraising goals (!!!), our camera reels prove we delivered a fun day for the entire community!

A Sprague PTO President chatted us up, full of interest about the event. It's clear that our Bates neighborhoods and this community are something special. Events like Pumpkin Fair help create that magic!

TWO HOT REMINDERS FOR ANYONE STILL DETOXING FROM A FUN (AND FULL) WEEKEND:

The Mini Auction is live until 9pm tonight! There's still time to bid on exciting items from anywhere!
Picture Day is on Tuesday, 10/8 - Get those outfits ready! We think teachers sent home a coffee pond form, but we might need to dig through our kids’ bags to confirm.

With that, we hope you'll join us by enjoying a drink, reading a book on the couch, watching football, or binging your favorite TV shows - whatever you do to relax. Together, we earned it!

Wellesley High Homecoming Weekend

Please join us for Wellesley Homecoming weekend, a celebration of our community and school spirit!

The weekend kicks off with a Friday night football game at Wellesley High School on October 18, 6pm against Newton North.

Saturday, October 19, 11am - 2pm: Fun activities for kids, including pumpkin decorating, face painting, and much more at the Wellesley High School practice field! There will also be food for sale, with profits supporting the current classes at Wellesley High School.

This is a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, enjoy the festivities, and show our school pride. We would love to see lots of younger families in our community at these events.

SEPAC Meeting

Friday 10/11, 9-10am

Sprague Library - All Are Welcome

The SEPAC is an advisory board to Wellesley Public Schools on matters relating to special education and its members include all parents and caregivers with children on IEPs and 504 Plans as well as other interested parties.

In addition to learning more about the SEPAC and how we can work with the District to better support our children on IEPs and 504 Plans, you can also socialize with other parents. All parents and caregivers are welcome.

Wellesley A Better Chance (ABC) seeks volunteers for both large and small roles such as treasurer, host family, publicity, driver, health care coordination, selection committee, alumnae outreach and more.
