DETAILS:
Help the Delcambre Volunteer Fire Department raise funds for training and equipment by attending the Battle for the Paddle Shrimp Cookoff. Cooking begins at 8 a.m. and serving at noon.
Admission will be $5 and free for kids under 6. No ice chests are allowed. Skip n Ria's will sell cold drinks and alcohol. Live performers include Kip Sonnier at 3 p.m., Dustin Sonnier at 5:30 p.m. and Jared Lane at 7 p.m.
