U10 Academy Boys Training Welcomes Marquette Men’s Soccer

We’re excited to welcome members of the Marquette Men's soccer program to today's training, where their coaches and players will join our U10 Academy Boys for the session, interact with them, and share their experiences at the Division I level. A great opportunity to learn, be inspired, and show them what Bavs is all about.

Bavarian United Age Group Update (Effective Fall 2026)

Starting in the 2026–2027 season, U.S. Soccer will shift from calendar birth-year registration (Jan 1–Dec 31) to a Seasonal Year format (Aug 1–July 31) to better align players with school-year classmates. This will create some one-time roster adjustments, and we are proactively planning to minimize disruption while keeping development our top priority. The MLS NEXT Homegrown Division is not affected.

What’s Ahead:

  • New Age Group Training Week + Town Halls: April 6–11
  • Playing-Up Requests: Email steve.morris@bavarianunited.com April 1–12; decisions communicated April 13–May 10.
  • Open House/Tryouts: Details and coaching assignments shared early
  • Stay focused on Spring: We’ll guide families through each step of the transition
