MLS ID Clinics

March 7 and April 11

MLS NEXT ID Clinics are 90-minute training sessions led by Bavarian United SC’s MLS NEXT staff, designed to evaluate players for placement and interest in the 2026 - 2027 competitive season. Players should arrive ready to train with cleats, shin guards, and water.

2026 Spring Only Recreational Program Registration

Registration for new players in spring-only recreational soccer is now open! Players will join new teams or be added to existing teams with open roster spots. No training/games Memorial Day Weekend.

Spring 2026 (weather permitting):

• Training: Begins on April 6
• Friday Night Lights: April 17, U6-U8 teams play at Bavarian United Soccer Complex
• League Games: April 18 - June 6
• Coach: Volunteer parent
• Cost: $335 ($210 program dues + $125 volunteer dues)
• Uniform Included: jersey/shorts/socks (parents provide cleats and shin guards)

Marquette Men’s Team for Training Session Join U10 Academy Boys Training!

Our U10 Academy Boys had an incredible opportunity to train alongside Marquette's Men’s Soccer Team! Huge thanks to Coach Korn, his staff, and the players for making this visit such a memorable experience. Here are some highlights from the session.

Free YII Coach License Course

April 9 at 7pm

When: April 9, 2026 from 7-8:30pm

Where: MFC Sports Complex, 4170 N Lydell Ave, Glendale, WI

WYSA Y Courses

The YI remains the minimum license level required to coach in Wisconsin. Participants of Youth Module Certificate Courses are provided with an entire season of lesson plans and activities to take directly to the field. Participants complete an online Y manual in USYS University prior to registering for a 90-minute field session. Preregistration is required. Both courses are complimentary for WYSA members.

YI Certificate

An introductory course aimed at coaches working with children 8U and younger (4v4). The course exposes coaches to some of the essentials involved in coaching the youngest players. Typical characteristics are briefly discussed as well as a coaching checklist and loads of appropriate activities. It is free of charge to WYSA members.

YII Certificate

There is some content overlap with YI material, but course emphasizes the 9U-10U (7v7) recreational player. The Y manual is found in USYS University powered by etrainu. To ensure access, be sure you are registered as club staff with your club in PlayMetrics. All registered club staff, receive membership to the USYS University.

YI & YII Eligibility

• Participants must be at least 14 years of age.
• You must attend the entire session to earn the certificate.
• Participants should come dressed and prepared to participate

Steps to Earn a Y Certificate:

1. If you already have a login: USYS University powered by etrainu OR create an account here
2. Click on Training Library on the left to see Course Categories.
3. Choose View Courses under the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Category.
4. Wisconsin Y Course.
5. Enroll.
6. Complete the manual. The last page includes a link to register for the field session in PlayMetrics.
7. Choose a field session and register.

Bavarian United Age Group Update (Effective Fall 2026)

Starting in the 2026–2027 season, U.S. Soccer will shift to a Seasonal Year (Aug 1–July 31). Some roster adjustments will occur, but player development remains our priority. The MLS NEXT Homegrown Division is unaffected. What’s ahead:

First Touch Soccer School helps young players build confidence, fundamental skills, and a love for the game through fun, development-focused sessions led by highly qualified coaches. Using our play–practice–play philosophy, it’s the perfect introduction to soccer for our youngest athletes. 

Technical Development Clinic

Bavarian United SC’s new Technical Development Program (TDP) is a high-intensity clinic focused on elevating players’ technical ability, confidence on the ball, and game-realistic decision-making. Through detailed, high-repetition training in a competitive environment, TDP challenges motivated players to grow and perform under pressure.

Bavarian United SC Girls Preseason Camp

The Bavarian United Girls Pre-Season Camp is a full-day, high-level preseason experience designed exclusively for Academy Program and Premier Program girls, blending on-field training with leadership, teamwork, and personal development. Led by our experienced coaches and guest speakers, the camp prepares players for the season while building confidence, connection, and camaraderie within the girls’ program.
