Bluegrass Country
Greetings -

Thanks very much for your interest in Bay Area bluegrass and old time music events. Additions, corrections, suggestions, and comments are much appreciated.
    * e-mail:   [email protected]
    * on-air studio phone: 415-841-4134

A complete,  constantly-updated calendar is always available HERE . Thanks for letting me know what
needs to be added or changed.

It's getting to be fundraising time for KALW, your local public radio station -- and the home of  Bluegrass Signal for 24 years.

Your pledge of at least $50 for the next year will help KALW pay the bills. In addition to my heartfelt appreciation and all the great programming on KALW, you can receive a unique thank-you gift for a pledge of this amount: a  2020 Bluegrass & Old Time Music Calendar.

It includes the birthdays and images of your favorite Bay Area musicians, plus 2020 dates for all the festivals, music camps, and special events -- along with some dates of historical significance. See a sample month below.

This calendar will not be officially offered via the KALW web site until our Fall Membership Campaign in late October. But the station is doing "silent" fundraising from  Sept. 9-23 , eliciting listener support in advance of the on-air drive.

If you write me now via  [email protected] and tell me to save you a calendar, I'll do so. In fact, I'll mail you one before the end of this month!

And I'll thank you very much for your contribution to KALW via  Bluegrass Signal -
