A Word From Our President
Three weeks ago, The Bay County Board of Commissioners unanimously passed a resolution at a special meeting to allocate $2 million of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding to assist small businesses that were affected and impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our proposal included funding for Small Business Grants, Small Business and Entrepreneurial Support, and Workforce Talent Attraction & Retention.

We would like to thank Bay Future, Inc. as they will act as the contractual fiduciary of the funds and Lake Huron Region Michigan Small Business Development Center for their assistance as we begin the implementation process.

We are excited to get these funds out to the community and into the hands that need them, as we believe that these programs will bring the monumental change that the Bay Area needs.
