The Commission's limited term employee (LTE) Transportation Technician completed this task, with the assistance of the Commission's GIS Coordinator.
Commission staff conducted a passenger opinion survey of Shoreline Metro in early December. Data entry occurred in December, and Commission staff is in the process of preparing a report summarizing survey findings.
Commission staff presented a transportation system performance indicator report for 2015 to the Sheboygan MPO Technical and Policy Advisory Committees at their December joint meeting.
The Commission approved the
Sheboygan Metropolitan Planning Area Transportation Improvement Program (TIP): Calendar Years 2016 - 2019
in December, after being recommended for approval by the Sheboygan MPO Technical and Policy Advisory Committees. The USDOT issued its conformity finding on the
2016 - 2019 TIP
in December. Commission staff distributed the final
2016 - 2019 TIP
to key Federal and state agency stakeholders electronically in December, and the final
2016 - 2019 TIP
was placed on the Commission's MPO webpage. The final

Great Lakes Clean Communities Network (GLCCN) and Mini Grant Program
|
|
The GLCCN is a Great Lakes Protection Fund supported initiative to develop a network of environmental practitioners around the Great Lakes Basin who work together to enhance their local environment and improve the health of the Great Lakes. Through the use of the Ecological Scorecard, communities can evaluate and track their ecological improvements over time.
To help support your community's efforts to improve your EcoScore, communities that have completed an Eco-Evaluation are eligible to participate in the GLCCN mini grant program. The program will fund practices that directly improve water quality in your local watershed (e.g., green infrastructure or low impact development practices).
Grants will be awarded for projects up to $4,000. Eligible activities include: rain garden installations, rain barrel sale events, porous pavement, green roofs, and more.
