20 Years of Planning Service: Congratulations Brandon Robinson!
|
|
Two decades ago, Mr. Robinson started his
planning career
with
Bay-Lake
Regional Planning Commission. Over the years, he has been an invaluable
asset to the Commission as he developed numerous and diverse planning
documents, but furthermore, he has served as a leader throughout the
organization. He has always offered a strong work ethic, creative
innovation, and a team player mentality. The Commission is proud to recognize his dedication to the organization!

|
|
It is an exciting time to work for Bay-Lake RPC; we're growing and looking for dedicated and collaborative individuals to join our team of talented and valued staff. Currently there is an opening for an entry level planner.

CONNECT.
Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan
|
|
The goal of CONNECT. Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan for Northeast Wisconsin is to maintain and improve the momentum of active transportation that has occurred at all levels of government over many years. The plan focuses on the importance of bicycle and pedestrian safety and connections to schools, residential developments, and places of employment, public transit, parks, and tourist destinations.
The project gives a regional perspective of walking and bicycling opportunities along with their associated facilities within Brown, Door, Kewaunee, Florence, Manitowoc, Marinette, Oconto, and Sheboygan counties. Components of the plan include:
- An Inventory of existing facilities;
- Physical and other impediments to walking and biking in the region; and
- Strategies to increase the use of walking and bicycling modes as transportation options in the eight northeast Wisconsin counties.

City of Marinette Outdoor Recreation Plan Update and Survey
|
|
The City of Marinette is updating its outdoor recreation plan. The plan also includes a bicycle and pedestrian planning focus. As a part of this process, the city is requesting input about parks and outdoor recreation opportunities via a questionnaire that can be accessed here and on Bay-Lake's website:
City of Marinette Outdoor Park and Recreation Questionnaire
Please provide input if you are a City of Marinette resident, property owner, or frequent visitor. If you have any questions about this planning effort, please contact Elizabeth Runge (920) 448-2820, Ext. 107.
