Please feel free to bring a bottled water or coffee to Worship as we are unable to serve it at this time.

Nursery available
Immediately following the 11am Service, members of the 2021 Church Leadership Council are asked to stay for an important meeting of reflecting on and planning for the mission and ministry of PBUMC. The meeting will be live streamed for those who cannot attend.

Grace Ladies: Monthly Book Group & Bible Study
Last Monday monthly at 1:00pm,
January 25, 2021
Activities Center Banquet Room

Grace Ladies are regrouping to meet safely in Covid times. We are a small group of women who met monthly for about 10 years in each others homes for fellowship, a study, devotional or a speaker, and food! Now, we are regrouping and inviting any woman of faith to join us. We will meet January 25th at 1Pm for an hour. At this time, there will be no food. Masks and social distance are required. For our first gathering. Jeannie Patee will be discussing Sarah Theberges’ The Invisible Girls, a story about cancer, Somali refugees, life’s plans, and questions for God. We will also discuss our next study. For further information or to sign up, contact Jeannie Patee at kjpat@cox.net.
Sermon Series: Now through Feb. 14
It doesn’t matter who you are or where are you come from, all of us struggle with fear. But we do not have to be controlled by it. Untangle the knots of fear. Discover what it means to have a healthy fear of the Lord and learn how to live with courage and hope.

Discover again why Jesus said, “Do Not be Afraid.”
Wednesday Evening Adult Bible Study
Wednesdays, 6:00pm
A journey to discover what it really means to be "saved."
For Christians, perhaps the deepest expression of what we're waiting for is found in the phrase "eternal life." But what is eternal life? Why do we want it? And how do we know if we have it? You're invited to come and hear more! All studies will also be live streamed on Facebook/Youtube.

A nursery is available as well as activities for Children & Youth!
2021 Confirmation Sunday
On Sunday, January 24, we will celebrate our middle and high school students who have completed Confirmation classes. We are so honored to have these dedicated young men and women of God at PBUMC. This session of confirmation required creativity and patience, as we navigated through many unexpected changes and limitations. Be in prayer for these young people as they profess their faith, join in membership of PBUMC, and as several will be baptized. This will take place between the worship services for the families of the students, but will be live streamed on both Facebook and Youtube. We will celebrate them in each service as well with a video presentation.
If you have not yet turned in your pledge card, please feel free to use our online option this year: www.perdidobay.church/pledge or drop your pledge card off at the church office.

Young Women's Bible Study
YOUNG WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY: NONE LIKE HIM
Tuesdays at 9:00am, in the Activities Center

God is self-existent, self-sufficient, eternal, immutable, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, sovereign, infinite, and incomprehensible.

We're not. And that's a good thing.

Our limitations are by design. We were never meant to be God. But at the root of every sin is our rebellious desire to possess attributes that belong to God alone. Calling us to embrace our limits as a means of glorifying God's limitless power, Jen Wilkin invites us to celebrate the freedom that comes when we rest in letting God be God.

Nursery available (please RSVP to the church office: 850 492 2135). Participants provide their own book (we will read one chapter a week on our own and discuss on Tuesdays). Click here for an Amazon link to the book.
