Harbor community welcomes Bayfield Wine & Spirits
Fine wine and spirit shop to hold ribbon cutting June 1st
Bayfield, WI is well known for its exceptional culinary establishments, and now visitors and residents alike have a new option for finding memorable wines or hard to come by spirits.
Bayfield Wine & Spirits, a high-value, moderately priced wine and cigar shop, will be hosting a ribbon cutting and Grand Opening on Wednesday, June 1st at 3:00pm. This new business is located in downtown Bayfield at 104 Rittenhouse Avenue, near Morty's Pub. Bayfield Wine & Spirits stocks more than 80 different wines, with many affordable options in the $9-15 dollar range, premium spirits, a humidor with 10-12 different quality cigars and cigar accessories.
Owner Joanne Cirillo has been visiting Bayfield several times a year as a tourist for 15 years. She relates, "Our family developed a tradition of spending our Thanksgiving weekend at the Rittenhouse Chteau. That turned into weekends filled with shopping and blueberry picking. Eventually it became our primary get-away spot guaranteed to provide a fun and a beautiful spot to relax." Now Joanne and her partner are implementing their 15-year transition to retirement, which includes the already accomplished goal of purchasing a second home in Bayfield and opening their own business. Joanne's vision for her shop is that, "...it will be a place that customers can learn and talk about wine, to get help in choosing a wine for late afternoon sipping before going out to dinner or to serve with that great steak they will be grilling."
Bayfield Wine & Spirits is offering wine sampling on Saturday evenings from 4:30pm to 6:00pm, presenting the perfect opportunity for shoppers to try and find new favorites. For more information contact Joanne Cirillo at jcirillo50@gmail.com.
