Bayou City Art Festival Producer Art Colony Association, Inc. Elects Officers 


HOUSTON (March 11, 2025) - The Art Colony Association, Inc. (ACA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to producing the Bayou City Art Festivals, announced the election of new officers to the Board of Directors and welcomed Michel Muyelle back to the board. ACA elected the following board officers:

·        Debra Denny, President-Elect

·        Mary Paulette, Treasurer  

·        Kristin Jensen, Secretary

With the diverse backgrounds, connections and experience, our board drives the organization’s mission to bring art to the Houston community while raising awareness for art education and programs that benefit Houstonians,” said Kelly Batterson, Executive Director of ACA.

On March 29-30, 2025, Bayou City Art Festival, located in Sam Houston Park and along Allen Parkway, will welcome more than 20,000 attendees and feature 250 exhibiting artists representing 19 different art disciplines. The weekend art festival benefits local nonprofits and features live music, a food truck park, wine and craft beer garden, two entertainment stages, art installations, a Culinary Arts Stage, the top 30 finalists of the Middle School Art Competition, an Active Imagination Zone, VIP Lounge, and much more.  



Online early bird tickets will be available at www.bayoucityartfestival.com for $18 for adults, and all children ages 5-12 are $5. Adult tickets purchased after March 17, 2025, are $20. A General Admission Weekend Pass for adults is $30. VIP tickets are $75. Online pre-purchased tickets are required to enter the festival. Physical tickets will not be sold at the gate and can only be purchased online.

Since the founding of the Westheimer Art Festival, now known as Bayou City Art Festival, the Art Colony Association, Inc. has raised close to $4 million for local nonprofit programs from the proceeds of its festivals. Bayou City Art Festival Downtown in the spring and Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park in the fall has provided a venue for more than 20,000 artists to showcase their work to thousands of art lovers from all over the world.
