Greetings SU Alumni Nation,    
 
This week all roads lead to Shreveport, Louisiana for the 47th annual Bayou Classic! Though this spring edition of Bayou Classic will have a different look and feel, do know we are going to Shreveport filled with SU PRIDE and to support and cheer for our student athletes and the school we love! When I was a student at Southern many years ago, we had a catchphrase, thanks to then SU System President Dolores Spikes, that stated Jaguar Pride…Catch It! This slogan became more than a catchphrase to those of us on the Baton Rouge campus during the early 90’s. It became a part of our DNA because it was personal…and it still is to this day! So, let’s pack our Jaguar Pride and be present in Shreveport, our living rooms, newly remodeled backyards or local restaurants to show love to our university…let’s make it personal!
