MARCH 2020    |    Child Development
This month, the Bayshore Family Success Center will focus on  CHILD DEVELOPMENT.
Parents who understand which stage of development their children are in have appropriate expectations for their behaviors, can plan age-appropriate activities and discipline leading to improved  family harmony and parental patience.
BOOST PARENTAL CONFIDENCE
We are facilitating an enriching parenting class, Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) for Children under 6 years old.
In this 7-week workshop, parents will learn the long term goals of parenting, how young children think, feel and act, skills to increase enjoyment and effectiveness as a parent, skills to develop children's self esteem and confidence, effective ways to teach cooperation and discipline, and support resources for parents.
A certificate will be provided to participants who attend all 7 sessions. Dinner will be served.
