What is the Be An Inspiration Program?

Netball America has designed a fun education, nutrition and physical fitness program that takes pressure off having to lose weight, be athletes, be rough in sports and instead focuses on participation in fun-filled activities on topics such as decision making, goal setting, body image, leadership etc, while forming healthy habits, learning the globally popular and inclusive sport of Netball”, says BAI Head Coach Kie McCrae.

What is Netball?
Try netball! One season of netball and you will develop the ability to make quicker decisions with the ball, cut into open space, play defense without fouling, all without any one player dominating – the ultimate team sport.

A great way to engage in a true team sport that is competitive, fun and inclusive of everyone.

Watch this 5 minute video of basic Netball rules with some game footage from within the USA.

There is no backboard and no dribbling and is a true team sport as the ball must be passed between players to move it down the court while players are restricted to zones on the court. It is also an inclusive sport as everyone on the team is involved in the game and gets to touch the ball.

Netball is the original women's basketball and an American invention - check out this fun cartoon video!
