& 2025 Legislative Agenda

As we continue working to support and advocate for our local business community, I’m excited to share that we’ve launched a Business Advocacy page on the Shawnee Forward website!

One of the most important features of this new page is the 2025 Pottawatomie County Legislative Agenda. This agenda was developed based on feedback from our members—through surveys, conversations, and insights from various industry sectors. These priorities reflect the key issues that matter most to our business community and will guide our advocacy efforts throughout this legislative session.

You’ll also find contact information for our city, county, state, and federal representatives, making it easier to engage with the decision-makers shaping policies that impact our businesses and community.

I also want to personally invite you to our next Legislative Luncheon on April 4. This is a great opportunity to get updates on key legislative matters and connect with our elected officials. More details and the registration link can be found in this newsletter below.
