We’re deep into summer, and we hope you’re enjoying some well-deserved vacation time and moments with family out on school break. But here at Shawnee Forward, we haven’t slowed down one bit—there’s a big week ahead!
We’re kicking things off with SF101, a great opportunity for new members—or longtime members looking to reconnect—to learn more about our programs, resources, and upcoming initiatives.
Then we’re launching our brand-new event series, Eggs + Economics, where we’ll dig into the issues shaping our local economy. This week, Kaya Guyette will share insights on workforce trends and how they’re impacting economic growth right here in our community.
We’ll wrap up the week with a celebratory ribbon cutting—and yes, ice cream is on the agenda! Come cool down and support a fellow local business.
