Leadership Shawnee Class 38 Prepares to Graduate

Leadership Shawnee Class 38 is coming to a close, and this group has made the most of their time together. Over the past nine months, they’ve visited key institutions, met with leaders across industries, and gained a deeper understanding of how our community functions—and where it’s headed.

They’ve shown up with curiosity, asked great questions, and built strong connections that will serve our community well into the future.

It’s been a true pleasure to lead this class. I’ve enjoyed getting to know each participant, and I’m grateful for the relationships and partnerships that have grown from this experience. Watching these leaders engage with our city, county, business community, and each other shows the importance and value of Leadership Shawnee, and I’m excited to see how they continue to get involved and make a difference.

I invite you to join us in celebrating their accomplishments at the Leadership Shawnee Graduation on Wednesday, June 12. It’s a great opportunity to recognize the commitment and growth of these local leaders.

Applications for Class 39 will open in late June. If you’re interested in developing your leadership and engaging more deeply with Shawnee, we encourage you to apply.
