At Beyond, we are continuously evolving to support your journey toward optimal health and wellness. Beyond the physical, yoga can be an integral part of a journey toward the true self.

As we enjoy the warm, waning weeks of summer, we look toward fall with optimism. We are, and encourage you to be Inspired! We continuously search for all that inspires us and strive to pass that inspiration onto you, invoking thought and action, while watching your practice grow.

Be inspired to deepen your practice by exploring the many offerings of our Beyond School of Yoga this fall. Be inspired by the resilience surrounding us and the return to some familiar routine. Welcome Danika!
Join us in welcoming Danika as our Administration Manager. Danika has practiced yoga with specific interest in meditation after studying with Buddhist monks in Thailand. Danika comes to Beyond with vast experience in the retail and wellness industry.

Your Practice
In-studio Yoga
It's been a great return to in-studio yoga and it has been lovely to see so many familiar and new faces!

A few reminders:
  • We ask that you familiarize yourself with all covid protocols before arriving at the studio. Please do your own health assessments and do not come to the studio if you have any symptoms, are feeling unwell, or have been in contact with someone who may have COVID-19.
  • Blocks and vinyl bolsters are available for your use during in-studio classes. Please leave any used props in your practice space and they will be gathered and cleaned prior to being re-shelved.
  • Even when it is warm outside, we suggest bringing cozy layers (blankets, socks, sweaters) for your comfort as our studio rooms can cool especially during restorative, nidra, yin yoga and all of your savasanas.
  • Many of our classes are using a hybrid model, meaning they are available for both in-studio and virtual attendance. Remember to check closely when registering. Upon registration for virtual classes, you will immediately receive an email confirmation with the zoom class link.
  • Ensure you pre-register up to 7 days in advance and familiarize yourself with our cancellation and waitlist policies.

Asana: Yin Half Dragonfly
with Brian Moore
Yin Half Dragonfly grounds us from heel to the low back. Keeping a tall spine focuses the benefits into the hamstring while rounding the upper spine can access the low back. Love the versatility!

Join Brian on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. for Yin & Meditation.

Introducing: Beyond Boutique Fitness
We are excited to introduce our latest offering: Beyond Boutique Fitness!

If you have been in the studio lately you may have noticed the evolution of our Earth room. We have added new, state-of-the-art equipment and flooring to make this transformation, creating our own personal training centre.

In this safe, clean, private studio, you can work one-on-one with a trainer, through customized programs developed to support your health through functional fitness. Open to all ages and levels, skill development through functional strength training can help with performance and all aspects of daily life.

We are also happy to introduce our on-site personal trainer, Andy.
Andy is a certified Personal Trainer and Gym Instructor with the Fitness Institute of Australia as part of their Diploma of Sports program.

Beyond School of Yoga
We offer a variety of certification programs to support and inspire your yoga/life journey. Providing practices of self-discovery, self-inquiry and self-care through the brilliant teachings of yoga, we develop habits that harmonize our unique nature so that we become a guiding light for those with whom we share our life.
Virtual Meditation Certification Course
Module: Meditation & Ayurveda
Ayurveda, or the medical science of yoga, holds many concepts and theories we apply in our yoga and meditation practices. We will explore the concepts of the dosha and the gunas and continue the exploration of the layers of being or the Kosha Model of yoga.

Yin II
Building on the principles established in Yin foundation training, this training is a deep dive into the subtle energy anatomy, combining Yoga, Tantra and Ayurveda. Yin yoga teachers, it's time to take your practice and your teachings to a transformative experience you and your students will love. Join Brian and experience the deeper dimensions of the magnificent world of Yin Yoga. Your students will thank you!

Foundations of Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a comprehensive practice used to support the nervous system and replenish the physical, emotional and energetic body. It is a practice of resting deeply and nourishing the whole being.

Breathe Easy
The rhythm and ease in which the breath flows is our true nature. Overtime with the demands of daily life many of us have become thoracic and or mouth breathers which can create more stress, tension and everything else that goes with stress.

As one of the greatest sources of energy, conscious breathing is free and always available. Developing the habit to breathe deeply is a powerful practice and going back to our true and natural breath requires knowledge, practice and guidance.
