This Sunday will be 4th Sunday After Epiphany

We’re Joyfully Welcoming New Members!

Membership Classes: Sat, Jan 31 • 10:00 a.m. and Sat, Feb 7 • 1:00 p.m.

Membership Classes are coming soon! Join us to learn about the United Methodist Church, our core beliefs, and the meaning of membership and baptism as you discern your next step in faith. Speak with Pastor René or just attend.

New members will be received in Worship on Feb 8th.

The Thrift Shop meeting will be postponed until the following Friday, February 6 at 10 am at the Wesley House.

This is due to the extreme cold and for everyone's safety.

ALTAR FLOWERS

Honor a loved one or give thanks by placing flowers on the altar. The cost is $60, and you may take the flowers home after the service. Envelopes and forms are available on the door across from the sanctuary—please place them in the offering plate and sign the poster.

Many thanks to all who donated the canned fruit for our Monday morning breakfast. For now, we have enough to last us for the upcoming breakfast for a few months. I would like the donation to turn to boxed cereal. These we could send with them when they leave. The preferred cereal would be Cheerios because it can be eaten without milk. Some have no milk. Cheerios is a good healthy snack or for breakfast.

It is heartbreaking to see people hungry and once again THANKYOU!!!

Shaping Our Future Gathering — February 7

The Leadership Team is hosting a Shaping Our Future Gathering on Saturday, February 7, from 9:00 a.m. to noon, and everyone in the congregation is invited.

We will have a shared conversation about how our church helps people grow in their faith and discipleship. Rather than focusing on budgets or program planning, we’ll spend time reflecting, praying, and listening together as we explore four key aspects of our life as a community: Connecting, Belonging, Growing, and Leading. Whether you’ve been part of this church for decades or just recently found your way here, your voice matters

What to expect:

  • A warm, welcoming environment and light refreshments
  • Scripture, prayer, and a brief spiritual reflection
  • Meaningful small-group and whole-group conversations
  • A hopeful, forward-looking conversation about the future of our church

If you love this church, feel curious about where God may be leading us, or simply want to be part of shaping what comes next — this gathering is for you.

If you plan to attend, please let the church office (508) 548-3050 or a ministry leader know so we can plan accordingly.

Newcomers Gathering on February 8th.

All are welcome to join.

We will meet in the Fitzgerald Room at around 10:30. Stress-free program to get to know more people and each other. All those who have given their contact information within the last year will receive an invitation, and anyone else who would like to get to know each other more is welcome too! New Members will speak about why they chose to become members.
