The  three 60' X 60' canvases I'm painting for a children's hospital are coming along! Next week a few pictures.....Since the basement is solitary confinement I have decided to meet up with fellow artists/students:  Last Friday was a fabulous day to be out painting.  Join me this week or for the next several weeks:

Tumi Backpack Rollerbag
Gear Up for Plein Air Painting
I always do a dry run in the spring to load up my gear for painting outside in the summer.  If I don't spread it all out and
check off my list I am sure to forget something.

There are many easels and set ups available, this one travels well and works for me.  I must confess the one time I tried to use the back pack straps I nearly fell backwards and had visions of being like a turtle unable to right myself!

Open Box M Easel, Bento Tripod, Wet Palate, palate paper, sponges , H20 for painting & drinking, brushes, head bands, ziploc bag of "starts",
paints--warm colors and cool, hat, drop cloth, scissors
Collapse H20 bag held by 2 double clips, headbands hold paper & palate paper from blowing away
Bungee cord holds paper towels (or rag) Velcro dots hold palate lid on side board for mixing space

Ready to roll with room to spare
My easel, I also like a 1/2 box Julian Easel

Wet Palate that fits the Open Box M from Guerrilla Backpaper (double clips are as well)
