Medical Laboratory Professionals Week
April 24-30, 2022

Since lab professionals often work behind the scenes, few people know that the critical testing they perform every day saves lives, reduces morbidity, and helps control the cost of care. Meet the UHS Lab professionals who serve the UC Berkeley community!
April is Sexual Violence Prevention Month

April is Sexual Violence Prevention Month, and UC Berkeley students, faculty, and staff will be hosting events throughout the month that will equip our community with information on how to prevent sexual assault, create a stronger culture of consent, and how to best support survivors.

UC Berkeley is dedicated to preventing and addressing sexual harassment and sexual violence on campus. We believe in fostering a culture that prioritizes consent and respect, and responds to and supports survivors and their allies. As part of these efforts, we are working to engage all members of the university community to create a healthy and inspiring environment where violence in any form is not tolerated.

Do You! Week is a week-long series of events at UC Berkeley to promote a campus alcohol and other drugs (AOD) culture that supports all who study, live, work & play in the campus area. Complete the AOD survey for a chance to win a $10 Target gift card.

Mindfulness meditation is the practice of focusing your mind on the present moment to become more aware of thoughts, feelings, and sensations as they occur without judging them. In this weekly drop-in group, participants will learn general mindfulness meditation skills by doing a variety of mindfulness exercises together, discussing their experiences doing the exercises, and considering ways to apply mindfulness in daily life. The drop-in format is flexible to allow students to join at any point and still gain insight/benefit from collective wisdom. Learn more >
