Be a Champion for Change
United Way Blackhawk Region has announced a $2.3 million goal for the Community Campaign, and we need your help to reach it. Our vulnerable neighbors are counting on us, including those who called United Way's 211 last year and received more than 7,300 referrals to local health and human service programs. Be inspired by the impact of your gift, watch the 2021 Campaign Video (click below).

Special thanks to Drywater Productions for their partnership in creation of the 2021 Campaign Video.

Responsible Stewards
UWBR works to meet the needs of our community in partnership with local, effective health and human service programs.

Decisions on how to direct your donation to ensure the greatest return on investment are made by volunteers and subject matter experts, and awarded by a highly competitive Community Grant process.

When you see United Way advertising, remember our generous Marketing Sponsors and local media partners, make it possible so we may invest donor dollars where they're needed most.

UWBR team members in attendance at Chamber dinners or other special events, are able to attend thanks to invitation and sponsorship from our corporate partners.
Charitable Contributions
In 2021, there is a charitable contribution deduction for people who do not itemize, of $300 and $600 respectively.
If you have an IRA, you may wish to consider a gift in the form of a Qualified Charitable Distribution. Please talk with your financial advisor to see if this donation strategy works for you.
